“Midwinter’s  Canon”

is a compilation of 4 Christmas Medleys on solo Harp.

Midwinter’s Canon

This is the piece that inspired me to create this CD. I was dreaming, and in my dream I heard Pachelbel’s “Canon in D”. Then, “In the Bleak Midwinter”, by Gustav Holst, began to play, and it was  so beautiful!

I woke up, went to my Harp, and began to experiment. With a few harmonic changes, they go together like a dream!
